Travel around Chongqing on monorail Line 2

Chongqing Monorail Line 2, the first urban rail transit line in western China, is also the first straddle monorail line in China, marked with forest green.

Since the trial operation opened in 2005, the Monorail Line 2 has become a means of transportation for Chongqing citizens' daily travel, and it is also a must for tourists from other places to Chongqing.

Linjiangmen Station

Punch point: Dai Jia Lane Cliff Walk

As a part of the Daijiaxiang branch of the Walk around the city wall, Daijiaxiang Cliff-wall Walk is located by the Jialing River in Yuzhong District, extending down to the Jialing River and up to the old block of Daijiaxiang. There are 6 scenic spots on Daijia Lane cliff walk, such as Sacheng steep slope, stilt house side, Feixian rock, Hongya city wall, cliff yellow Ge, cliff overlooking the river. Standing on the footpath, you can overlook the Jialing River and Jiangbeizui. Huanghuayuan Bridge and Qiansimen Jialing River Bridge are distributed around, and you can see the beauty of ancient and modern Chongqing in the bustling place of the city.

Zeng Jiayan Station

Check-in point: Zhongshan Fourth Road, Chongqing People's Auditorium

Zhongshan Fourth Road is known as "the most beautiful branch road in Chongqing" and "Anti-Japanese War culture street" in Chongqing. Next to it is the famous Shangqing Temple, and nearby are the ruins of the Republic of China such as Guiyuan, Zhougong Pavilion and Dai Mansion. Zhongshan Fourth Road is not only a gathering place of historical relics, but also a cultural and creative industry park, which integrates historical culture, leisure tourism, cultural and creative experience.

Chongqing People's Great Hall, built in 1951, is the first magnificent national building with unique characteristics since the founding of New China, and one of the ten cultural symbols of Chongqing. The appearance adopts the national style of the big roof, imitating the palace architecture of the Ming and Qing dynasties, and the decoration and color reflect the traditional characteristics, paint and color painting, carved beam painting. The interior space is a circular dome, high and open, with natural lighting and ventilation.

Liziba Station

Punch in point: Monorail through the building, the third floor of the road

Monorail train through the building is a special attraction of Liziba Station, there are always tourists in this team to punch the card, from the No. 1 entrance out, to the street at the bottom of the building, you can see the rail train through the building, and from the No. 2 entrance out can feel the stimulation of the monorail train from close to the head. At the same time, the Liziba station also has Bayu old news exhibition and other cultural landscapes, and the three-dimensional greening and night lighting along the line make Line 2 a beautiful scenery line in Chongqing.

The three-storey road refers to the walk from the Liziba Fork to the Second Factory Cultural and Creative Park, along which there are rich historical relics such as Jue Luu (" Little Yellow House "), Stilwell Museum, and the Friendly Flying Tigers Museum. Nowadays, the three-layer road integrates literary and creative ingenuity, and has become a trend area of both history and literature.

Fotuguan Station

Punch point: Half cliff line walk

Half cliff line walk is located in the air nearly 300 meters above sea level, is a boardwalk like a heavenly road. Among the mountains, green, in which you can overlook the Jialing River, Yuzhong, North of the river scenery, nearby punch the same type of "Forbidden City red Wall", Guanyue Temple and other popular scenery. In early spring, the beauty of the line 2 along the Monorail line is lined up, the petals are stacked, and the train passes through the sea of flowers like a "train to spring", and the beautiful scene is very healing.

Xie Jiawan Station

Check-in point: Kowloon Beach

Located in Kowloon Po District, Kowloon Beach attracts many visitors due to its landmark public Spaces such as Kowloon Beach Plaza, Children's playground, Yangtze River Miles Map, etc. The multi-storey pedestrian paths along the river in the plaza, such as Vitality Road, hydrophilic Road, and Elastic Road, have also become a good place for leisure and recreation.
